Patrick H. O'Connor was named Interim County Manager in September 2008 by the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners to serve during their search process for a new county manager. Prior to this appointment, Pat O'Connor spent 27 years with Hennepin County (MN). During that tenure, he was the Director of Taxpayer Services, Acting Associate County Administrator, and Manager of the Financial Management and Accounting Division. He retired from there in 2006.
In 2007, he worked as a consultant with the Ramsey County Property Records and Revenue Department to coordinate the necessary work of implementing the recommendations made by a Blue Ribbon Panel.
